The USB-C port probably would have worked as well, but I wanted to use that for data. The WD19TB is such a dock.Įdit: Third 1920x1080 monitor works attached to the HDMI port on the dock. Once I get my hands on a 3rd monitor, I'll try that connected to the USB-C Displayport output and see if it works, since the manual says it should.FYI - Any dock that uses the Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 chip will work with a TB3 laptop in TB3 mode, or fall back to straight USB-C and Displayport alt mode for laptops that don't. When I switch to both passive adapters, everything started working like it should. I was trying active DP to HDMI adapters which wouldn't work. I had a hell of a time with the monitors, as they use HDMI. All attached devices and monitors (currently dual 1920x1080) work. I finally got them both working with the WD19TB to the point where she can just move the TB cable between them. After the driver update process completes, connect the AC adapter to the Dell WD19TB/WD19TBS dock first and then attach the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) cable to the computer before using the docking station. My wife has a LG Gram 17 with Thunderbolt 3, and a Surface Laptop 3 for work. This is available in the " Docks/Stands" section. Download and install the latest Realtek USB GBE Ethernet Controller Driver for the docking station.

Download and install the latest Realtek USB Audio Driver for the docking station (WD19TB only).
